Bluemountains

2nd Day of our trip
Canberra to Bluemountains (NSW). This was supposedly a 3hrs drive but it took us about 5? or was it 4? we encountered a erm... accident on the way. I don't have the pics with me but i'll post it and talk about it when i get hold of some of those pics. I'll go straight to Bluemountains. We got to Bluemountains in the afternoon, and guess what? it was raining and was really foggy . obviously the fog covered the 3 sisters which was the main attraction up there. but well we took some pics and tot we'd wait a bit for the sky to clear....

trip he was just covered like this. he was sooooo cold. poor boy. first year studying in melbourne, he came here Feb this year. he is Shy Ying's brother. i guess he is not used to the cold....yet. but i have to say, it was really cold the whole weekend no matter where we went. like Joe said, we were chasing the rain.


This is me all sad when we got to Bluemountains.
so disappointed ok! to drive all the way there to see that kinda weather. urgh.......

but... with patience comes good things......









THE WEATHER CLEARED!
It cleared pretty quickly actually and it stayed that way till we left. so we took many many pictures. I've been to the Bluemountains before but i don't recall Echo Point being so lovely. Maybe then, there was no Echo Point and the bus took us to some less beautiful lookout area. there was a information and souvenir shop there as well and lots of tourists. it was worth the drive =) eventhough there was quite a jam going down the mountain. Poor Joe in his manual car.
